Guide on How to Change the Ink Cartridges of the HP Deskjet 3764
Replacing the ink cartridges of your HP Deskjet 3764 printer is a process you will have to do quite frequently. Don't worry, it's very simple, and you just need to follow the steps we've provided below.
- Firstly, turn on the printer.
- Lower the paper output tray.
- Open the door that gives access to the cartridges. It is located right at the front of the printer itself.
- Do not proceed until the printer has become inactive, and the carriage has stopped in the center.
- Gently press down the cartridge you're going to replace, and then remove it.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its package carefully, ensuring you only touch the black plastic of the ink cartridge.
- Remove the orange plastic protective tape.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into its corresponding slot and push it backward until you see that it has properly clicked into place.
- Remember that the black ink cartridge goes into the right slot, and the tricolor cartridge into the left slot.
- Repeat the same process if you need to change the other ink cartridge.
- Close the door that gives access to the ink cartridges, and you're done.
